Oakleaf
Hydrangea 'Snow Queen'

Oakleaf
Hydrangea
(Hydrangea quercifolia)
is a superior plant for the sun or shade garden. It is well know for
it's huge white blooms and large rugged leaves. The beautiful creamy
white flower panicles age to a soft pink and are great for dried flowers.
Leaves resemble oak leaves and turn wine red in the fall. Mature specimens
develop attractive exfoliating bark making this truly a four season
shrub. It is best planted in an area protected from the afternoon
sun and with room for it to grow to a height and width of 6-8'.
