Astilbe
(Astilbe chinensis 'Pumila') has lilac plumes over
deep cut bronzy-green foliage from July to August.
This Astilbe is great as groundcover or in front of larger hostas
because it only grows to 10"T and 12"W. Best in part shade
and evenly moist soil, however it is also one of the most drought
tolerant of the Astilbes.
