Table Top Christmas Tree Care Intrustions
To Treat as a Houseplant
Water your new tree using 3 to 6 ice cubes daily to
every other day. Check your tree daily for moisture. If it remains too
wet, your tree may rot, too dry, and the needles will drop. You must keep
your tree indoors until frigid cold weather is over.
Your tree may break dormancy indoors and begin to grow.
This is fine. Your tree still must not be planted outdoors at this time.
Planting outdoors will freeze the new growth and cause your tree’s demise.
To Treat as an Outdoor Plant
Your tree may be kept inside for no longer than 7
days. While indoors, water your tree using 3 to 6 ice cubes daily to every
other day. Prepare the hole to plant the tree ahead of time. Make the
hole twice as wide and only as deep as the pot. Store the dirt from the
hole in your garage to prevent from freezing. Acclimatize your tree to
cooler temperatures by placing it in your garage for several days before
planting outside.
Following these instructions should give you maximum
enjoyment of your tree!
